Whidbey Island Equine Photo Workshop  August 10th - 12th 2018

Oak Harbor WA

This 3 day all inclusive photography workhop is being held at one of the most beautiful locations in the Northwest, Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island Washington. Warm breezes, fabulous sunsets, and beautiful horses will combine to give you a special photography workshop experience. Join like minded individuals to share ideas, learn and expand your portfolio.

In addition to photographing stunning horses during this workshop I will be helping you to develop the creative aspect of equine photography. I will be encouraging participants to step out of the box and experiment as well as show you some unique perspectives.  This workshop is open to all levels of photographers and beginners are encourged to attend. You should understand the basic functions of your camera.

We will begin our workshop Friday afternoon August 10th. We will be staying at the Candlewood Suites in Oak Harbor. Once everyone has arrived and checked in we will meet downstairs in the lobby for introductions and a brief overview of the workshop. After dinner on our first evening we will explore a bit of the island photographing some of the many sights nearby.

We will begin photographing horses at sunrise Saturday morning. During our morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday we will have exclusive use of a private facility where we will capture images of horses at liberty as well as create unique portrait shots. Our final shoot on Sunday morning will be fast paced and action packed with more flying manes and tails until time to check out of our hotel.

Lodging and meals are included in the workshop cost except for alcoholic beverages and incidentals.

Cost of the workshop is $1599. A non-refundable deposit of $800. will hold your spot. The balance is due 45 days prior to the workshop.  For those wishing you pay with debit or credit card you may do so below via PayPal (fees apply). If you prefer to mail a check please email me at tamaragoochphoto@gmail.com for my mailing address.

I recommend trip insurance for all workshops.  I will be happy to share the names of some insurance providers for those interested.
